How to Use Automatic Spraying Machine?

After we purchased the painting equipment, many users were unable to solve the usage problems, and there were always many problems when using them. Below, we summarize some of the problems encountered during the use of the painting equipment. These problems are also common problems. Let’s briefly talk about the specific situations.

 1. When using spray paint or paint, the primer will be required to be diluted. In the absence of a viscometer, we can add 100% diluent according to the weight of the paint, mainly so that the paint can be sprayed smoothly. When using it, many people use it either too thickly or too thinly, resulting in poor spraying effect. When installing the painting equipment, it is best to let the technician impart experience.

2. Primer, putty, and topcoat should be used in conjunction with each other. Different spray painting equipment uses different thinners, and many people think they are the same and end up in a mess.

3. When using a lot of paint, you must stir it thoroughly to meet the requirements and fully solve the problem of unclean surfaces and a lot of debris. We can filter it with a filter to make it cleaner and more durable.

4. The electroplated products, glass and other objects that do not need to be sprayed can be covered with Vaseline or butter, or covered with paper, but be careful not to touch the areas that need to be sprayed.

5. The distance between the spray gun nozzle and the object surface should be controlled between 250 and 300 mm. Generally, the nozzle should be closer when passing paint, and slightly further for each subsequent pass. The air pressure should be maintained between 0.3 to 0.4 MPa (about 3 to 4 kgf/cm2), and gradually decreases after the nozzle passes. If a large spray gun is used, the air pressure should be 0.5 to 0.7 MPa (about 5 to 7 kgf/cm2). During operation, the direction of spraying should be perpendicular to the object surface and slightly overlapped with the previous spray paint.

6. If you find that the paint from the spray gun is uneven when spraying, you should immediately adjust the distance between the air outlet and the paint outlet to maintain uniform paint output and a certain painted surface. It is best to test spray with water before spraying.

7. When applying nitrocellulose paint to the nozzle, the primer and putty are oily. It is easy to be dissolved by the thinner in the spray paint, causing bubbles and wrinkles. Therefore, the spray paint should be thin and thin to allow the thinner to evaporate quickly and avoid lifting the bottom layer.

8. After the first coat of paint is dry, sand it and then spray the second coat of paint. This makes the paint film flatter.

9. In a humid environment, the spray paint will easily turn white. At this time, a moisture-proof agent can be added to it. The dosage is usually 5 to 15% of the diluent in the paint. If the spray paint surface has turned white, a thin layer of thinner and moisture-proof agent can be used. Again.

You must pay attention to these issues when using coating equipment, otherwise it will lead to quality problems and defects in the sprayed products. If you have any problems, you can communicate with our company's technical staff in time.
